Mahesh is the CEO at UniAway, where he designed an Artificial Intelligence product which helps students aspiring to study abroad find the courses and universities that match their profile in minutes.

After graduating from NITK-Surathkal with a degree in Chemical Engineering he joined Modelytics as a business analyst in 2005. He obtained his MastersDegree in Analytics from North Carolina State University in 2007, and then joined Barclays Bank as a credit risk analyst in their New York City office soon after his graduation. At Barclays, Mahesh built machine learning models for the South African and Scandinavian portfolios.

After 3 years into banking domain, Mahesh joined Genworth Financials (a mortgage insurance company) in Raleigh, North Carolina as Director Risk Modeling, where he managed the credit risk models for Genworth’s Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico, and India portfolios.
