Bharathi Theertha believes that the health of individuals depend on their genetics, management of health by consuming a diet that provides the nutrition and certain disciplinary practices such as regular physical exercise, not abusing drugs, smoking cigarettes, and consuming alcohol and on the environment in which they live.
Bharathi Theertha believes in creating awareness in rural poor about good health and hygienic practices. In this regard, the otherwise normal health of villagers in India is mostly jeopardized by consuming contaminated drinking water and practicing unhygienic sanitation practices such as open defecation. Also, immunization of rural or urban babies children is an important aspect of protecting their health.
